Classwork question 7.

2x-9/x ( The original fraction)

2x-9+5/x+8 = 2x-4/x+8
2x-4/x+8=2/3
2(x+8)=3(2x-4)
2x+16=6x-12
16+12=6x-2x
28=4x
7=x

2x-9/x=2(7)-9/x(7)
=14-9/7
=5/7 (the answer)
