(d)(i) Yes, This information is at a moment of time, which means its not along a period of time. Pie charts can still present this data.
(ii) No, Line graphs are for measuring a thing over a a period of time. Whereas, this is a few thins at a moment.

  4. (a) There were 8 heavy vehicles observed at 7.05am.
    (b) There were 8 more cars than heavy vehicles.
    (c) There were 25 vehicles on the road.
    (d)
    (i) It is possible as the pie chart will show the number of cars on the road.
(ii) It is not possible as when presented in line graph, the results will be seen as the number of vehicles increasing.

    d) (i)Yes as we can see the number of vehicles by expressing it on a part of the chart
(ii)No as the line graph is used to express data over a period of time

    b) 8 more cars.
    c) 25 vehicles
    d) (i) Yes. Pie charts can be used to display figures in percentage over 100%.
(ii) No. Line graphs are used to display information over a period of time so it is not suitable.

    b) 8 more Cars then Heavy vehicles
    c) 25 vehicles were on the road.
    d) Yes it is possible for the pie chart, but not for the line chart.
    i) The pie chart can be used to represent each factor, so you can see the amount of each object.
ii) The line graph is only used to measure changes in one factor.

    (c) 25 vehicles in total
(di) Yes I think that it is possible to represent the information in the following charts. Pie charts can be displayed in figures over percentage.
(dii) No as the line graph is used to expressed the data over a period of time, which is not accurate enough.

    b) There were 8 more cars than heavy vehicles at 7.05am
    c) There were 25 vehicles on the road at 7.05am
    d) It is possible to present the information using the Pie Chart but it is not possible to present the information in the Line Chart. The Pie Chart can show how many vehicles and types of vehicles are driving past at that particular time. The Line Graph is not possible as it shows timing but this information is only recorded at one particular timing.

(d)Yes, for the pie chart. But no for the line graph. The numbers can still be represented on the pie chart but not the line graph. This is because the line graph is for measuring things that happen over a period of time.

    (d) (i) yes,as on a pie chart can show many objects,it serves the purpose of the bar graph so it is possible.
(ii)No,as we want to calculate more than 1 object a line graph cannot be used as it only can calculate 1 object but the bar graph can calculate more than 1 object so we cannot use a line graph
