Common mistakes made by students:
1. answers not given in index form or prime factorisation form. In such cases answer marks will be penalised.
2. calculation error: square of 9 = 18 instead of 81
3. question 2b is related to question 2a hence reference must be made
4. working not clearly shown or rather vague
