-I had worked very hard for mathematics last year as I had gotten a grade B for the previous exams. So once our PSLE results were out, I was quite satisfied with a result of an A grade. But, having worked so hard, I really wanted to get an A*.
-I did, as I mentioned above get a low grade, so I engaged the help of a tuition teacher to help me. Also when I would not be able to solve a problem I would take a break and try again. This way, it left me refreshed to try again and I would be concentrate more to solving the problem.
~the joys of learning mathematics lies in solving a maths problem that I had been breaking my head off with.when I try to work out just 1 problem with many different solutions, there comes success and joy.
~The challenges in maths would probably be solving mind boggling math olympiad questions.Sometimes I think too much that I'll just go blank!!
-The success and joys of learning mathematics is when I managed to solve the challenging questions set in the PSLE Mathematics paper. I was happy I got an A, but I was really aiming for an A*.

~ One of the challenges that I came across in Mathematics is to be unable to solve a particular Maths problem sum no matter how hard I tried. I may need some guidance (maybe a clue or a hint) to get myself started with the question that I am not sure how to do.
I scoring A * FOR MATHS and full marks for test all make me feel successful and joyous, as well as learning new methods from my primary 6 and 5 maths teachers all who taught very interesting solutions for the problem.
1 out of a few challenges I face is trying to solve hard problems but after all the trying I still cannot solve it, so i had to bring it to ask the teacher the following day. The other is trying to solve some of the maths olympiad questions that i had absolutely no idea about. Some times I may forget certain concepts so I need some reminding.
